Dr. Carmen R Washington, EdD FNP-BC

Dr. Carmen R. Washington, EdD, FNP-BC, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience in primary care, community health, and education. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to making healthcare more accessible to diverse populations. With a passion for providing compassionate, nonbiased care, Dr. Washington specializes in managing chronic and complex medical conditions that are often referred to specialists. Her mission is to address health disparities and improve outcomes for individuals from marginalized populations, particularly those facing barriers due to ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Washington has served as an adjunct college professor for 10 years and continues to mentor future nurse practitioners during their clinical rotations. She believes in the power of education to equip her patients with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health, striving for health equity for all. Dr. Washington is also a certified Botox injector, blending medical expertise with aesthetic care to support the overall well-being of her patients.
